Yale CPV Electric Chain Hoist Configuration Options

The CPV/F series from Yale offers customization through various standard choices and optional extras. Suspension options include hook or lug fittings, allowing installations to suit different anchor points. We also offer a package with a combined CPV hoist and integrated power drive trolley should you want this option.

CPV Hoist Optional Extras

If you require extra corrosion resistance, stainless steel load chains are available.

For operational convenience you should consider radio remote control units, this option provides operators with more flexibility. Safety is key here – because the hoist can be operated from a safe distance, out of the hazard zone.

Thermal overload protection is available for optimum protection.

Other optional extras include higher speeds up to 20m/min; manual trolley; adjustable upper and lower limit switches and chain containers.

Standard Safety Features

Safety aspects of the Yale CPV/f electric hoist include a slip clutch as standard to protect against overloading, this is adjustable! The braking system design is an electro-magnetic spring pressure brake which will hold the load at all times, even if the power fails.

The system uses 42V low voltage, thus reduces the risk of electrical hazards during use. The closed pendant controller is rated to IP65 to ensure the controller remains protected against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. The motor is classified to H3 standards and is IP55 rated.

The standard operating voltage is 400V, 3-phase, 50Hz, so its compatible with most industrial electrical systems.
