The modular approach also simplifies maintenance and allows for future upgrades without requiring complete system replacement.

Suspension options include the standard hook suspension, rigid suspension (on request), push travel trolley, or a powered trolley with single or dual speed options. So whether you need static or movable lifting options the Stahl ST can easily be set up to suit your needs, additionally the set up can be changed in the future without the need to re-purchase the whole system. For example if you purchase a hook suspension configuration but 6 months down the line you could do with a power trolley instead they you can simply purchase the trolley to swap out with the hook.

The Stahl ST hoist is ideal for use with standard or bespoke crane systems as well as systems manufacturing. If you opt for a trolley system there is a choice of headroom options thanks to the configurable system; choose from standard, short or extra short headroom. (see image above)

When it comes to lifting capacities the smallest model can handle loads up to 125kg and although we supply up to 5000kg models directly online we are also able to supply hoists up to 6300kg on request.

One key feature of the ST electric hoist is the suspension from its solid cast iron chain guide which ensures the load is supported at the engagement point, thus providing optimum safety thanks to it eliminating weak points and ensuring a constantly secure load path; in fact its one of the safest around.

When it comes to maintenance the hoists modular design means that access to the chain drive is easy due to the over-mounted drive shaft. The motors are fan cooled and the brake system incorporates an asbestos free electro-magnetic disc. The long life brake pads can easily be checked, although the brake system is entirely enclosed to keep out dust and humidity etc.

The internal control panel is easy enough to access for engineers and where you will find the well laid out contactors. An easy to reach slip clutch (in oil bath) provides security against overloading.
