Tiger ROV Subsea Chain Block Options
There are a number of interface options for ROV control which help to control the chain block in different ways.
1; The hot stab female hydraulic connection with dual port type A & B for manipulators to operate. Also featuring dual direction check valves prevent fluid loss and minimal water contamination.
2; A rotary torque receptacle for class 1, 2 & 3 to provide maximum tool flexibility with just a 50Nm torque to lift 20 tonnes needed.
3; A ‘D’ handle or fish tail manual direct drive manual connections for operator friendly flexibility.
4; QD direct drive male and female ¾ NPT couplings for fast and efficient connections whilst enabling deck HPU operation.
There are 4 point manipulator connection points and the option of a stainless steel chain bucket.
The hydraulic option has a stainless cage around the hydraulic components whilst the other interfaces are used with a simpler flat framework. The 316 stainless bar used for the frames provide excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Additionally laser cut identification labels ensure easy readability that can not be rubbed off/worn away.
There is an abundance of information regarding the Tiger ROV subsea chain block in the specification download sheet above.
