The main purpose of a scissor lift platform is to raise a load from just off the ground to table or work bench height for offloading. The platform can then be reloaded and moved to a new location. These hydraulic platforms are the ideal way to handle loads that frequently need to be moved around. They also remove the need to lift heavier loads onto your worktop or production line and therefore will help with health and safety issues, reducing the incidence of muscle strains and repetitive injuries.

How a Hydraulic Scissor Lift Table Works

These tables are really quite simple to operate. They incorporate a hydraulic ram which is operated by a foot pedal/lever. The hydraulic system raises the scissor type framework under the platform. The table top will raise up as you pump the foot pedal and stop when you do, thus the required height is easy to acquire.
