Benefits of Multi Point Lifting Beams

When comparing our multi point lifting beams to standard varieties you will see there are many benefits.

Because the length can be adjusted by adding or removing one of the modular segments it can be matched up to the size of the load. This has big benefits due to the fact that the loading slings can be kept in a vertical alignment for optimum safety and load stability.

Additionally there are multiple loading eyes running the full length of the lower section of the beam, thus giving you even more loading options.

When it comes to anchoring the beam to your hoist or crane there are a few different options. As with a standard lifting beam you can opt for a single anchor point, this must be in the centre position for optimum stability. Ideal where headroom is limited.

Thanks to the full length anchor eyes along the top side, tandem lift configurations are easily achievable and can be used this way with a single central load lifting point or multiple points, but two or more points must be evenly spaced around the centre of gravity.

There is a third option of use for our multi point lifting beam which is to set it up as a semi-spreader beam. This is thanks to the high number of anchor points for top anchoring and bottom loading. When used in this way you will have two top anchor points and two loading points, all need equal spacing for stability.

Another benefit to these beams is that they are much easier to store and transport thanks to their modular design.

Multi Point Lifting Beam Size Options

The total length achievable for the multi point lifting beam is 12 metres which are made up of three sections with differing lengths. One longer central section and a smaller section at each end. The sections are bolted together and you can use the beam with just one section, two sections or all three. This enables you to customise the beam to suit your load, thus removing the need to have multiple sized beams. This multi point beam really can do it all.
