Yale VSlll Manual Chain Hoist Key Features
The tried and tested Yale VSlll manual chain hoist is ideal for most everyday lifting operations and enables precision lifting. Its compact nature means its pretty easy to handle and transport, especially the smaller models.
Featuring an upgraded precision machined roller chain guide which helps to prevent the hand chain from tilting or jamming, thus operation is smooth.
High quality bearings are used throughout and allow the drive pinion and load chain to run through smoothly.
The load chain is zinc plated and together with the zinc plated and yellow chromated brake components and guide rollers the VSlll has good corrosion protection.
All hooks can swivel through 360 degrees are equipped with robust safety latches, therefore anchoring the hoist and attaching loads is quick, easy and safe.
The hoists overall stability is great thanks to the strong bolts used between the housing plates and the reinforced hand wheel cover, which also offers protection to the inner components.
VSlll Manual Hoist Options
As well as all the standard features mentioned above the VSlll manual hoist has a couple of optional extras to consider.
Firstly if you would like to enhance the safety during operation then consider the additional overload protection device. These hoists incorporate quite a bit of chain, especially the larger models, the chain can often get in the way or become tangled, the use of a chain container eliminates these issues by holding the excess portion of chain safely out of the way.
