About the Viper Pull Lift
This fairly light and compact piece of lifting gear from the Viper brand is ideal to keep in your tool box. The design of the Viper pull lift means you can pull loads, lift and lower loads and even apply tension where required. This multi-function hoist range starts with a 250kg model and goes right up to the largest model with a 9000kg capacity with 7 other capacities in-between to choose from. The angle of lift or pull is up to you, Vertical is ideal for straight lifting tasks but horizontal or diagonal positions are ideal for pulling and tensioning applications.
Viper Ratchet Lever Hoist Features
One of the key features of the Viper ratchet lever hoist is the shorter handle/lever, which, together with its particular gear ratio enables operation with the smallest amount of effort. There is a little lever on the handle which enables you to select up (forwards), down (backwards) depending which orientation you are using the hoist; or the neutral position for free chaining mode. Free chaining mode allows the chain to be pulled through unhindered when not loaded.
The Viper lever hoist has a steel body and is designed to protect inner components such as the brake and gear systems. The load chain is grade 80 steel with fine tolerance and it meets the BS EN 818-7 WLL performance requirement. Comes with a matt black finish.
The hoist has been well tested and has a minimum breaking load of four times the stated working load limit (4 x WLL). Certification is available if required.
Tips for Use
- Make sure the chain is lubricated before use
- Always use a straight lift or pull position from hook to hook in any orientation.
- Never touch the grip wheel whilst the load is moving.
- Ensure the minimum required load weight is attached for safe operation of the automatic brake system.
- Read through and follow the manufacturers guidelines in conjunction with safe lifting operation protocols.
