Viper Manual Chain Hoist Features and Benefits
Designed for durability and heavy duty use the Viper manual chain block is manufactured with quality components which can be replaced if necessary thanks to the spare parts available. Maintenance is also pretty straight forward and thus the user has complete repair and servicing flexibility. Why replace the whole hoist if just one component has gone down! This cost effective manual chain block is a great all rounder and its easy to handle.
When it comes to performance the BS EN 13157 requirements are met. The grade 80 T fine tolerance load chain meets WLL BS EN 818-7 performance requirements, and the minimum breaking load is 4:1 (4x the WLL). The hand chain has been electro galvanised and calibrated for optimum use.
The hooks on the GT Viper chain block fully rotate and incorporate heavy duty cast safety latches, this means that anchoring the hoist from the top hook is easy as the hook can swivel as required for the correct alignment. The bottom load hook can easily pivot to attach the load and keep it secure until removed.
The sealed bearings unit ensure optimum protection and provide smooth operation at all times.
Recommended for straight lifts although cross hauling and fleeting may be possible in some circumstances with a strict set of criteria, although we do not recommended this practice. Please get in touch for more information about this kind of operation.
