Viper Beam Clamp Adjustability
One of the Viper beam clamp key features is its adjustability. The range of adjustability differs slightly between the models. The smallest two have a range of 75mm to 220mm and the largest model range is from 90mm up to 320mm. Plus a few variations in between.
Because steel beams come in a diverse range of sizes, the Viper clamp is designed to fit the majority. This is thanks to the robust adjuster screw which is centrally positioned for optimum balance and stability.
Other features & Benefits
The special construction of the Viper clamp jaws ensures the forces of the applied load is kept away from the beam flange edges, thus reducing stress on them.
There is a robust loading point located centrally at the bottom of the clamp. This facilitates quick, easy and stable attachment of hoisting equipment such as electric chain hoists and manual chain blocks.
These clamps have a great safety factor with the minimum breaking load (MBL) sitting at four times the stated load limit.
Meeting all safety requirements you can be assured of a quality beam clamp with the heavy duty Viper.
