Steerman SX Machine Skates Features

There are two key parts in the SX load moving skate system, these are the front, steerable section complete with long steering handle and the rear skate module. The handle can be removed for easier storage and transportation.

The front module incorporates a platform which includes a central turntable and a number of wheels which varies between models. The turntable is mounted on big diameter axial ball bearing enables easier positioning and load movement.

The rear skate module incorporate two sets of skates which are connected with a tie rod to ensure they move seamlessly together and helps with good floor contact. Each wheel is made from elastic polyamide materials and is abrasion resistant. They run smoothly, quietly and will not damage normal floor coverings.

SX/S Machine Skates Available

The SX/S system comes in four capacities / sizes. There is a 10 tonne, 20 tonne, 30 tonne and 60 tonne model available at Lifting Gear Store. Each has a varying number of wheels which are 16, 32, 48 & 48 respectively, with the largest model having larger diameter wheels. Full Specifications can be found above.
