Available Sizes
The metric thread diameters range from 6mm through to 12mm, to accommodate various requirements. The extended shank lengths span from 80mm to 120mm long, making these eye bolts particularly suitable for installing through thicker materials or require an extended reach. The long shank design provides more flexibility in mounting options compared to standard length eye bolts.
Applications and Safety
It is important to note that these eye bolts have NOT been tested and therefore not suitable for any lifting or load bearing tasks of any kind. They are designed for light-duty securing, guiding, or anchor point applications only.
Despite not being rated for lifting/load bearing, these stainless long shank eye bolts remain very useful for many everyday applications. They are often used for creating tie-down points for tarpaulins, awnings, or shade cloths, for example. Creating attachment points on boats, such as lines, fenders, or canvas covers where forces are minimal are another option for use. In the garden, they may create an anchor points for wire trellises, plant supports, or other decorative features.
