Stainless Steel Eye Nuts – Tested Details
Unlike many stainless steel eye nuts these have been tested and thus are suitable for use in lifting operations. They are made from AISI 316 stainless steel and provide optimum corrosion resistance; this means they are suitable for use in a wide range of environments from marine to construction and many other industrial and outdoor settings. The polished finish also means they will look great too.
Stainless Eye Nut Sizes
Our range of stainless steel eye nuts covers working load limits (WLL) from 0.07 ton up to 1.8 ton, providing solutions for light-duty to medium-duty lifting operations. The metric style threads come in diameters which span from 6mm to 24mm, ensuring compatibility with a wide variety of metric threaded rods, bolts, and structural components. This size range allows users to choose the appropriate eye nut for their specific load requirements and installation conditions.
Safety & Certification
Safety is paramount in lifting operations so these eye nuts have a safety factor where the Minimum Breaking Load (MBL) equals four times the Working Load Limit (4 x WLL). This 4:1 safety ratio provides an essential margin of protection, to account for dynamic loading and unexpected stress conditions.
All our eye nuts are supplied with an EC Declaration of Conformity, confirming compliance with relevant European directives and regulations.
If you need additional documentation and traceability, certificates are available upon request. These include:
-
Certificate 3.1: Inspection certificate with full material traceability and test results
-
Certificate 2.1: Compliance statement from the manufacturer
-
Certificate 2.2: Non-specific test report confirming compliance
More Eye Nuts & Eye Bolts
The Lifting Gear Store has an excellent range of eye type lifting points in a range of materials like stainless or the more typical carbon steel with different finish options such as electro-galvanization. Designs vary between models, some are dynamo varieties for straight lifts and others are collared which are more suitable for angled loading. You will find options for metric and BSW thread types in many diameters and WLL.
