This type of lifting hoist can be very beneficial for tasks that are repetitive and/or need optimum precision. Using one hand to control the hoist with tool and the other hand to hold or align your material/task they are simple to operate and reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries. The hoist has an ambidextrous design, thus can be used by left and right handed people alike.

Other benefits include a soft stop and start function, a mechanical end stop system and an automatic disc brake including a fail safe mechanism. When load free the TCR 250 ME runs at around 16.7 metres per minute, with a load attached travelling speeds reduce to around 8m/min.

Weighing just 11kg this air hoist can be moved around fairly easily. When fully loaded the hoist can lift a speeds of 8 metres per minute and lower loads at 16.5 m/min; unloaded lifting speeds rise to 16.7 m/min.
