Metric Carbon Steel Eye Nuts to DIN 582 Details

These robust lifting points combine the threading of a standard metric nut with an integrated lifting eye, creating a versatile attachment point for hooks, chains, cables, and other rigging equipment.

Made from mild carbon steel they come in their self-colour as standard, however, on request we can have them finished with electro-galvanization to offer extra corrosion protection thanks to the additional zinc layer. Our carbon steel eye nuts have a metric thread which is the most common type in used today. They must be used with the same metric threaded bolt type for a correct fit and optimum safety. The Din582 standard ensures dimensional consistency across the same spec products.

Each eye nut is stamped with identifiable information including CE mark, material code, ID mark and of course the WLL and size.

With a minimum breaking strength of 4xWLL offer excellent strength-to-weight ratios and reliable performance under load. The WLL ratings increase progressively as the thread diameter increases, see the specifications above for all the details. Lifting slings in all formats as well as shackle connectors can also be supplied.
