L4 Compact Lever Pull Lift Size
This compact pull lift is based on the tried and tested heavy duty L4 lever hoist but on a smaller scale. The L4 compact is 80mm shorter in length then the standard version, 53mm less in width and 58mm less deep.
Thus its quite a bit smaller so easier to handle and transport to where required.
One of the big benefits to the L4 compact lever pull lift is its low weight, in fact its around 4 x lighter than the standard L4. The 250kg model weighs in at just 1.6kg whilst its heavy duty cousin weight 6.2kg.
Because it is so light you can clip it onto your tool belt if needs be, meaning you are ready to lift loads wherever you are. It also comes with its own carry case.
L4 Compact Lever Hoist Features
With similar features to the larger L4 ratchet hoist you can be assured of a quality hoisting experience. Made in the UK by William Hackett, this twin pawl lifting hoist can handle lifting and pulling applications in any orientation safely when used within the manufacturers guidelines.
The end stop features an easy grab handle type fitting which enables a much better grip when adjusting the chain. The swivel safety hooks incorporate overload indicators in the form of specific markings, these enable easy measuring to see if the hook has stretched which would indicate they have been overloaded or miss-used.
With a shorter, rubber grip handle the hoist is easy to use with minimal effort and has a good grip.
When it comes to safety this pull lift meets UK, EU, USA and AUS standards. It has been proof tested to 1.5 times the working load limit and the load chain is BS EN818-7 grade T(8) compliant. Together with a 4:1 safety factor and light load capabilities (2% of WLL) you really can’t go wrong for handling lighter loads.
Other Ratchet Hoists
Another compact ratchet pull lift to compare this one with would be the Yale handy which has similar specifications. Regular sized lever pull lifts available at Lifting Gear Store include models from brands such as Delta, Yale and Tiger. Other equipment that can also lift, pull and tension include cable pulling winches, so these may be worth a look, although somewhat larger in physical size.
