Deltafor Cable Winch Puller Capabilities

The Deltafor cable winch puller is capable of lifting, pulling and tensioning loads in any direction. However you must understand that the initial stated capacity seen here in the model selection is for lifting tasks. Pulling and tensioning tasks have a different safe working load (SWL) capacity.

Using the sheave block technique, you can increase the capacities as well as change the direction of pull at specific intervals if required.

Deltafor Pulling Winch Features

The aluminium casing makes the Deltafor lighter than other steel pullers, thus its easier to transport and handle. It goes without saying that you need to bear in mind the weight of the cable too. This varies between models due to the cable diameter increasing to cope with the larger SWL. You can find out all these details in the specifications.

There is a removable anchor pin at one end of the winch which enables easy attachment for a quick set up. Also incorporated is a device to release the jaws so that the cable can be threaded through for a quick and easy set up. This mode also allows the cable to be manually extended out quite fast in order to reach your load quickly.
Each model is supplied with 20 metres of steel cable as standard when it comes to online purchasing. However we can supply other lengths if required, just ask. The cable comes with a safety hook at one end and a fused end at the other for passing through the jaws.

As a safety device you will find shear pins on the forward lever. These are designed to break if overloading occurs so the puller can not be used, however they can be replaced quite quickly.

Incorporated into the Deltafor cable winch puller are forward, reverse and free mode levers.  With the longer, forward lever being extendable for easier operation and removable for easier storage.
