Cobra Grade 8 Eye Bolt
The Grade 8 alloy steel construction indicates high-strength properties that meet rigorous manufacturing standards. Generally based to DIN 580 standards ensures size consistency and thus, compatibility in size to other like equipment.
These professional quality eye bolts have excellent durability and high strength, thanks to the alloy steel; much more than a comparable standard carbon steel model. Alloy steel provides superior tensile strength, improved resistance to wear and fatigue, and excellent performance under demanding load conditions.
The bright red finish not only enables easy identification it adds a layer of protection too. The Cobra eye bolt is marked with a number of identifying factors including; CE, WLL, grade of material, ID and size.
Cobra Eye Bolt Sizes
At the lower end of the 21 model range is the M6 (6mm thread diameter) eye bolt which has a safe working load limit of 0.4 tonne or 400kg. At the upper end of the scale is the impressive M64 eye bolt (64mm diameter threaded shank) which has a WLL of 50 tonnes or 50,000kg.
As you can see the range is pretty far reaching and thus should be a size to suit the majority of lifting tasks.
For all the dimensions please refer to the specifications above.
Important Note: The stated WLL is based on a straight, in-line lift only. Please consult the manufacturer for guidance in non-axial (off-centre/angled) lifts; WLL reductions will need to be applied.
