Basic Safety Harness and Lanyard Kit Features

Supplied with a simple drawstring bag your basic safety harness kit can be kept clean and readily accessible. No more hunting for your safety equipment when you need to work at heights.

Although this is sold as a basic safety kit it is still able to do what it need to.

When we say basic it is simply because there are no extra ells and whistles. You get the full body harness which has just 1 rear anchor point and only the leg/thigh straps and chest strap are able to be adjusted. Although the shoulder straps are not adjustable the chest strap can be moved up and down and pulled in tighter. This will help to hold the shoulder straps in place.

The chest strap is fastened with a quick snap buckle type fitting, thus they are quick to secure and unfasten.

As with most Kratos safety harnesses the leg straps are different in colour. This makes identifying the different parts easier, thus quicker and easier to put on.

The 1.8 metre safety lanyard is 30mm wide and is non-adjustable so ensure it will suit your task.

Fitted with a controlled tear 35mm shock absorber pack, in the unfortunate circumstance that you should fall, the pack will slowly tear open and elongate the lanyard. The controlled manner will lessen the forces on you to less than 6 kN, thus lessen the risk of a more serious injury.
