About the Pull Lift

A pull lift is actually quite simplistic in terms of design and technicality. Using gears and a ratchet and pawl system, with each handle crank the load chain advances through. Subsequently lifting, pulling or tensioning the load that is attached. They also have a braking system which engages as soon as the lever returns to its starting point, thus the load is always held safely.

You have a selection lever to choose the mode you want. Up, down (forward/reverse) and neutral for free wheeling mode. (Used for pulling out chain quickly.

A huge benefit to these pull lifts is that they can be used in any direction, not just vertical. Also as no power is needed and due to their compact nature they are pretty easy to transport and use just about anywhere.

With prices starting at just under £90 our pull lifts really are a cost efficient piece of lifting gear. When it comes to safe working load our range goes up to 20 tonne or 20000kg. They really can handle a huge weight.

As with all the lifting gear we supply, the necessary regulations are met for UK use and come with test certification.

Alternative Manual Lifting Solutions

If a pull lift is not quite up your street then why not take a look at some other products.  Our cable pulling winch collection can also lift, pull and tension at any angle in any direction, although they look quite different. 3200Kg is the maximum these machines can handle.

Manual chain hoists or chain blocks are also power free lifting hoists. They are commonly used for vertical lifting applications. Bottle jacks can also be used as a manual lifting aid. Although they essentially push up a load from underneath (like a car) just a small distance.
