Why Use Machine Moving Skates?

When it comes to moving heavy machinery, appliances, cabinets and other large loads, physically moving them by manual labour alone will be extremely difficult if not impossible.

Slip one or more machine moving skates underneath and the task becomes much easier, quicker and safer. So reduce your risk of physical strains and injuries and buy some machine moving skates today. They are one of the handiest pieces of equipment to keep around and take up little space.

Using Machine Moving Skates

machine moving skates

Machine skates can be utilised in the majority of areas as long as the ground in fairly flat and relatively smooth.

We are often asked how to get the skates under particularly heavy loads! It is often the case that pushing the top of the load to tilt it slightly is enough to slip a skate under. Sometimes this is not enough so a crow bar can be used for extra leverage. Machine skates work extremely well with our roller crow bar; a crow bar with wheels. The wheels enable easier, smoother movements. Whilst the wider, slimmer foot plate enables it to slide under loads easier. Longer handles also mean more leverage with less effort. Alternatively jacks can be beneficial, especially with larger loads.

Once you have your skates in position the load can be pushed around and easily manoeuvred into its new position.

Often it is necessary to use more than one skate. It will depend on the size and weight of your load. But it must be stable before attempting to move the load.
