Yale CPS Electric Chain Hoist Compact Design

The CPS electric hoist has lifting capacities of 125kg or 250kg, thus ideal for lighter load lifting tasks. Its lower headroom design, low weight and smaller size means a good choice where space is tight. The CPS is also a good option for occasional lifting applications. Its lightweight design means its easy to transport and set up for use due to the fact that it can be lifted in one hand. Repositioning or moving the hoist is much easier when compared to larger, heavier hoists.

The larger 250kg hoist measures up at just 304mm from the inner suspension hook bowl at the top to the load hook bowl at the bottom. This model weight in at 14kg which includes the chain for the standard 3 metre height of lift. CPS Electric Hoist Features and Technical Details

Safety is paramount in the CPS design and boasts a 5:1 safety factor. Thermal overload protection comes as standard, and prevents damage caused from heat build up.

Another important safety feature is the electro-magnetic spring pressure brake system which ensures the load will always be held securely even if the power fails, thus providing peace of mind.

The load sheave has 10 pockets set out in an oblique lay to ensure constantly smooth chain operation speeds whilst minimising wear.

Overload protection is in the form of a slip clutch which reduces the risk of hoist damage caused from lifting loads above the stated load capacity.

The CPS hoist boasts an M4 high duty rating which means you get up to 240 motor starts per hour. The motor is IP54 protected and the pendant control is IP65 protected.

Operating Power varies between the different models with options of 110V, 230V or 400V in single or 3 phase and all at 50Hz.

Chain containers are recommended to keep the slack/loose chain out of the way both whilst in use and when in storage.
