Delta Electric Chain Hoist and Trolley Combo Specifications
When looking at the technical data for the Delta electric chain hoist and trolley combo the specifications for the electric hoist are exactly the same as the stand alone DEH hoist, however there will be no suspension hook or lug. There are two trolley options; manual push travel or electric power drive. You choice will be largely dependant on personal preference but also the type of lifting operations your set up will be used for.
Manual Push Travel Trolley
Easily adjustable to suit various beam sizes this trolley also incorporates an anti tilt feature for optimum safety. The robust screw pin connects the two sides, enabling incremental adjustments for the perfect fit. This pin also contains a central eye for hanging your hoist and load. The lubricated steel wheels enable smooth movements over the beam. Find out all the technical info in the specification sheet above.
Power Drive Trolley
This option may be more costly than the manual version but operations will be quicker, smoother and more accurate. Operated by a hand held pendant control the trolley is moved at the press of a button. For optimum handling efficiency you may wish to consider the radio remote control option. Operate your combo from a safe distance with ease. Up to 20 metres a minute can be attained with the power drive trolley. See the full specifications for all the technical data.
Why Buy the Delta Hoist & Trolley Combination
Any lifting hoist, just like an electric chain hoist will need additional equipment so that it can be fitted to the steel beam of a crane. Hoists typically suspend from a hook or lug that are anchored to the beam attachment. These beam attachments could be a clamp or trolley design. Beam clamps remain stationary whilst trolleys can move back and forth across the beam.
So instead of purchasing an electric hoist and then find a suitable beam trolley why not buy the combined system. Offering an easier to use, more stable hoisting system thanks to the larger connection zone between the hoist and trolley.
The added bonus with this system is that if you want to remove the trolley from the hoist and perhaps add a hook or a simple lug suspension point in its place then this can very easily be done.
